Mount Stuart Membership - 2024

As a member of Mount Stuart you will enjoy many benefits including discounts at The Courtyard, early access to special events and our regular membership e-newsletter full of exciting news and stories from our team. Most importantly, you’ll be supporting the work of Mount Stuart Trust.

Your membership fee contributes to keeping Mount Stuart house & gardens open to the public, supports on-going conservation work and helps us to provide work experience and opportunities to young people.

Membership runs from January to December. If you purchase during 2024, your membership will expire on 31st December 2024. 

Isle of Bute Residents

All Isle of Bute residents are entitled to concessionary membership rates, please select the appropriate 'Bute' membership from the drop down menu above. Proof of residence is required to obtain a Bute Membership e.g. a current council tax statement with a Bute address. Your Bute home must be your primary residence and not a second home.

Membership Renewals

To renew, please purchase the relevant membership online. Please discard your old membership card as these are no longer valid. New cards can be collected from the ticket office during our open season.

Garden Access Out of Season

Membership entitles you to access our gardens out of season. Please be aware that no visitor facilities are available during our closed period (November to March). On days when poor weather is forecast, and in particular when the MET Office issues a Red, Yellow or Amber warning for wind, the site will remain closed and access is not permitted for safety reasons. 

Car Passes

Annual car passes can be collected from the ticket office in-season. Please display these when using the visitor car park out of season.
